Lanzones Festival 2016 – Day 1-3

Sweet lanzones…

A hot day…

Lively drumbeats…

Colorful costumes…

These are the usual pictures of the Lanzones festival. This event is done yearly to celebrate the bountiful harvest of sweet lanzones of our province. The only thing that makes it different for me is I am part of the event this year. My school participates and joins the dance contests sponsored by our town’s local government unit. This is my first time to join in the making of costumes, bead works, among others.

This post is done urgently and posted immediately. Unprepared, unplanned and unedited. Just too busy making another headdress :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
