It was a fine day today and just right for the start of classes for term two. I was on my maternity leave when term one ended so I’ve been away for quite a while. I miss the morning rush and routines but it’s nice to be away from it for some time.
As early as half past 5 am, this fountain in the small pond is already dashing and greeting the day.
Soon this area will be flooded with little nursery kids for their P.E. classes throwing colorful balls and playing around under the sun with their watchful parents and smiling teachers.
In a few hours, this narrow path will be loaded with cars and school vans. Heavy traffic is brewing outside the school gate and and in city highways.
I have my ups and downs while working here for 4 years. And from my short maternity leave, it feels good to be back again…
Readying my lesson plan and expecting more classroom actions in the coming days.
The library looks immaculate… but wait till the students get in and mess up the shelf.
The students are happy and eager to start the term. I just hope they are ready for the lessons and activities that are in store for them…
