8 mos (August)

My 8th month is more of excitement and anticipation. Even though worries creep in sometimes, I easily shake it off and bounce back to being jolly again. The little girl is non-stoppable! Day and night, at work or at home, she’s always kicking and rolling (I guess). I can feel her heels on my ribs and tiny hands in my tummy. There are nights that her hiccups are the only sound I hear and they seem endless. She seems to communicate when I start to talk to her or play music too.

Health wise, there are no major problems. My blood sugar level is fluctuating but my blood pressure is consistently normal. The baby’s heartbeat is normal too. “Very Good”, the doctor said.
